I appreciate waking up to this short recap. What a horrible nightmare that is going on. The retribution will probably be severe from the MAGAs. They want blood and this shooting will galvanize their lust for it.

Trump blaming the democrats for their rhetoric of “political violence” - So remind us again “ Who started the riots of January 6th? Who sat back watching the attack on the capital on Television in the comfort of the White House?

An organised attack on American democracy where innocent police officers were killed and innocent people were badly injured?”

I think someone has a very selective memory

The problem is when someone dies violently, we express horror and sympathy, no matter who it is. Trump, as expected, rarely, if ever, comments when someone he disagrees with dies. He doesn't comment on the school shootings. Does he think he is immune? As for Charlie Kirk, if you hang around people espousing violence and preach it yourself, and it happens, well, no surprise. If you don't want to go to jail, don't hang out with criminals because you can be pulled in. If you don't want to be a target for shooters, don't say inflammatory things (for fame and $) and hang out with people who endorse violence (Jan 6).

And the general consensus about Gutfeld is he's not funny at all, and his talk show sucks

I don’t understand why people write memoirs and bash people they state are friends. Just fuels the political discourse.

FOX advocating violence and revenge before knowing the facts. No, they own the horrific Utah incident and the violence against the children in Colorado.

Did I miss something? Who is Gutfield and who is Jesse? Dollemore? I hope people don't consider him an idiot. The problem now is . . . any independent news person, like David, is now a target for retribution. I PRAY that David, Ben, Tim, Brian, the whole gang stay safe.

Live by the sword die by the sword. He was murdered not "assassinated". No lowering of flags necessary. He served no one but himself, his supporters and benefactors. This spectical is bad theater. No similar outrage for the Wisconsin killing. This event is tragic but no more than so than every other murder that takes place at the hands of irresponsible GUN owners.

What if everyone stopped saying gun control and said firearm education? Would Charlie Kirk still live ? Would a background check have saved his life?

Regardless of politics, violence does not solve disagreement.

Also the right to carry lethal weapons expressed in the 2nd Amendment was to overcome oppression by Europe 250 years ago , not that everyone has the right to pack a gun.

When the 2nd Amendment was written, there were no automatic weapons or bump stocks .

Education. Moderation. Dialogue.

Leave it to Trump and MAGAs to respond to the shooting in the most divisive way(s) possible.

If this were a nobody or some leftie there would be barely a peep but because it was a right wing bloviator and Trump fellator ...oh boy. Trump is responsible for all these shootings. They are reactions to the extreme rapid radical changes we are experiencing right now. I would say a vast majority of people are pissed off....well not including the terminally apathetic among us. You know who you are.
