The administration is in a panic. How we know that? Because they’re shutting off all of the economic data. Jobs report is gone. The inflation report is gone, the advanced GDP preview, they canceled that one, and in the meantime, as we enter a data blackout, Trump is still trying to get the Federal Reserve to slash rates the way we would only even think about doing if the economy was struggling.
Now, meanwhile, because everything’s getting dumber, Trump’s transportation secretary Sean Duffy now put chin up bars at airports, and he wants more of them, as air traffic control is sadly outdated and planes are sitting delayed. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Secretary of Health and Human Services, showed up and made biological comparisons so deranged that it strains credulity.
Meanwhile, we have a MAGA Civil War update after Marjorie Taylor Greene went after Trump on 60 Minutes Sunday night. Trump did respond, and he did flip out, and we are going to look at the Truth Social post so unhinged it should really come with a warning label.
And finally, in a sickly yellow public appearance, Trump was so confused by basic questions that he seems to not even understand his own bailout of farmers—not the first term bailout, that one was bad enough, but the new forthcoming $11 billion bailout of farmers. He doesn’t know what’s going on.
I will also be joined by Senator Mark Kelly, who is being targeted by Trump and Republicans and getting death threats after he said, “Hey, if you’re in the armed services, you might want to make sure you’re not following any illegal order.” So we’ll talk to Senator Mark Kelly.
