Today is Friday, October 10, 2025, and this is your news and preview of today’s show.
President Donald Trump held a roundtable discussion on Wednesday on Antifa. He appeared visibly drowsy during statements by right-wing commentator Andy Ngo, struggling to keep his eyes open as cameras captured the moment. The event also featured remarks from Attorney General Pam Bondi, who compared her approach to fighting Antifa to taking down drug cartels, saying she would “destroy the entire organization from top to bottom.” Unlike cartels, Antifa does not have a centralized structure or leadership.
Trump also made several striking comments at the same event, including claiming conservative activist Charlie Kirk had been assassinated by a “far-left extremist,” and joking about a supporter who said she became “more attractive” after overcoming what she called “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Meanwhile, Fox News is acknowledging rising inflation under Trump’s current administration, reporting that roasted coffee prices have climbed 22% in the past year amid new tariffs on imports from Brazil, the nation’s largest coffee supplier. The segment showed one café owner saying shipping container costs have risen by tens of thousands of dollars, forcing higher prices for customers.
In another Fox segment, host Jesse Watters denied claims that Trump may be experiencing cognitive decline, saying, “You can’t be a dictator with dementia.” The comments come amid renewed attention on Trump’s recent verbal missteps and erratic behavior.
Elsewhere, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was seen leading a group prayer with ICE agents before a street operation in Portland. Legal experts say the act raises constitutional questions about government endorsement of religion, particularly when tied to law enforcement activity.
Trump also faces growing backlash from farmers, including some who previously supported him. Soybean producers in Illinois say his tariffs on China have made their crops uncompetitive, with one farmer saying prices are now about 20% higher than Brazilian soybeans. Despite record harvests, many say they are barely breaking even and that bailout payments do not make up for lost markets.
