I’m sure trump will find some maga quack to pronounce him as fit as a marathon runner and the epitome of mental acuity and health. I sure am glad that I can trust the government…

Yes, he "managed" his last report. How very healthy he is etc. Totally untrue he was acting erratically back then.

The physical and mental condtion of the most important person on the planet should not be a guessing game. Come on Senate/House, age limits 65 max to include your own fossiles. No foreign business interests, no stock trading and no running businesses on the side like Truth Social while in office.

Why has his tax returns have still not been released? These need to be independantly audited NOT by the IRS who works for the president. Everyone else releases theirs. How did he escape this?

Restructure cabinets and departments for greater independance. DOJ needs to be totally independant so they do not become hit squad for Trumps vendetas.

Israel and Hamas inch toward a ceasefire while Trump inches toward a medical exam he’ll probably call “the best in history.”

Hostages might be freed, Congress might function, and Trump might accidentally post another confession before lunch. Meanwhile, Mike Johnson’s learning the hard way that “family values” don’t pay for healthcare.

Some weeks the world feels like it’s holding its breath. This one feels like it’s hyperventilating.

We will only hear that Trump is in "excelent" health. What makes you think Walter Reed is going to say Trump has 2nd Stage Dementia and should not be leading the country?!?

If there was anything in it, no doubt someone would have commented, but since T has now disappeared for several days a couple of months running ans since his rotund belly seems perhaps a little less so (not that I spend time looking at the repulsive creature), I wondered if he is having chemo which might also explain the bruising on his hand. Whatever the case, the man is unfit to run anything, far less the government. He needs to go.

If you'll remember, Walter Reed is where trump was cleared of having covid and gets a clear bill of health. Why would this be different? Yes. We need an independent series of tests and the correct results.

Hamas-Israel hostage release results: Trump will claim he ended the war. Israel will continue the carnage.

Trump's medical evaluation results: He is the healthiest most fit man of any age on the planet. DONOTBELIEVEANYOF THISABJECTHORSESHIT....except of course Israel continuing the carnage...this is real.

@David Pakman Trump’s scheduled “routine yearly checkup” at Walter Reed Hospital, is officially described as a standard medical evaluation. But at 79, and after being declared in “excellent health” just six months ago, a repeat full exam is not routine. It’s a management plan.

What medicine tells us

For someone Trump’s age, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) rarely appears in isolation. The Gutenberg Health Study (European Heart Journal, 2021) found that individuals with CVI face substantially higher rates of cardiovascular disease and mortality, even when other risk factors are controlled. In plain terms, advanced venous disease in older adults usually signals deeper systemic strain, most often cardiac or renal.

That makes this visit less about routine care and more about monitoring progression, tracking how well his system is holding up under load. The medical reality helps explain the visible changes in how his team now operates.

How decline gets managed

Trump’s schedule has shifted from publicity to preservation. Every appearance now seems choreographed to conserve energy and limit exposure. Fatigue, not messaging, is the variable being managed.

I’ve seen this same dynamic before. A woman in her seventies with end-stage kidney failure can attend a social event looking radiant, laughing, dancing, and appearing healthy. Most never realize how fragile she is, or that it takes her days to recover afterward. That’s what compensation looks like: controlled bursts of performance masking systemic weakness.

Trump’s public rhythm mirrors that pattern. Short appearances, long absences, and heavily stage-managed visibility.

What this visit means

Friday’s Walter Reed appointment doesn’t fit the calendar, it drives it. It’s a calibration point, a way to measure how far his team can push him before fatigue or instability surfaces.

If he sustains frequent, unscripted, hour-long public events in the coming weeks, that would challenge this assessment. But if the current pattern holds, fewer live appearances, compressed schedules, limited travel, and tight control, it will confirm what the schedule already shows. The truth won’t come from a press statement; it will show up in how often he’s seen and how long he can perform at full capacity.

Bottom line

This isn’t a standard checkup. It’s a reassessment of a patient under management. The medical and operational patterns are aligning, and that alignment is what matters. Transparency won’t come from what’s said after Friday, it’ll come from what quietly changes afterward.

Well written, but probably meaningless. As long as his heart is beating Repubs will support him regardless of the consequences. They probably are cooking up an AI version just in case to prolong our agony.

Fair point. But I don’t think MAGA is the GOP, it’s Trump. When he’s gone, the party reshapes. I don’t see any other MAGA figure being President, unless Trump doesn’t finish his term and Vance ends up inheriting the presidency by default.

Agree Trump is a one trick pony, just like Joe McCarthy in the 1950's. Hopefully Repubs can look in the mirror and aim for more unity with the rest of us.
