Today is Friday, July 25th, 2025, and this is your news and preview of today's show.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has released new documents related to Hillary Clinton’s private email server, a case the FBI closed in 2016 with no charges. The release comes as the Trump administration faces growing pressure to disclose Epstein-related files, which it continues to withhold citing legal and privacy concerns.
Senator Ron Wyden says his team uncovered $1.5 billion in suspicious wire transfers tied to Jeffrey Epstein, including payments from sanctioned Russian banks. The transactions reportedly coincided with the movement of women and girls across borders. The Treasury Department is now blocking congressional access to these files, and the Department of Justice has not confirmed any investigation.
Meanwhile, Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, has said Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were close friends, adding to public scrutiny as Trump’s administration resists releasing more details about the case.
More than 8,000 people have signed a petition demanding President Trump release his full medical records, including cognitive evaluations. This follows growing concern over visible swelling in his ankles and bruising on his hands. The White House says he has chronic venous insufficiency and is in good health, but has not released full documentation.
Trump is also facing criticism for threatening to block a stadium deal unless the Washington Commanders change their name. His press secretary confirmed he was serious. Video continues to circulate of Trump needing aides to explain executive orders moments before signing them, raising questions about his fitness for office.
Speaker Mike Johnson claimed, without evidence, that the Biden administration doctored Epstein files—despite the documents being reviewed before Biden left office. And Trump attorney Alina Habba says she was removed from a legal case for going after Democrats. The Justice Department has not commented.
