Today is Tuesday July 15th, 2025, and this is your 3 minute preview of what's on today's show.

Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly saying she’s ready to testify publicly before Congress about Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. The longtime Epstein associate is currently serving time in federal prison and claims she’s never been asked to name names. She says she’d welcome the chance to speak on the record.

At the same time, House Republicans voted overnight to block a proposal that would have preserved and released records tied to Epstein’s network—including Maxwell’s potential testimony. Critics say the move raises questions about transparency, as multiple reports suggest high-profile figures could be named in those files.

Meanwhile, Trump allies are split over how to respond. Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are openly criticizing the administration, while former Trump adviser Roger Stone says Maxwell “has nothing” on Trump. A federal judge is also reportedly preparing to release names from sealed Epstein court records in the coming days.

And at the White House, President Trump is facing renewed scrutiny after a chaotic appearance at a press luncheon. He made a series of inaccurate claims—including a national gas price below $2—and stumbled when asked about Russia and upcoming tariffs. Trump says he will impose 100% tariffs on Russian goods unless a deal is reached within 50 days.

The tariff policy is also under pressure. Trump economic adviser Kevin Hassett struggled to explain the rationale for a 50% tariff on Brazil during an ABC News interview, particularly as the country runs a trade deficit with the U.S.

Elsewhere, The Daily Beast reports that Trump kept the real FIFA Club World Cup trophy—valued at nearly $250,000—after presenting it to Chelsea FC over the weekend. The team reportedly received a replica. Trump said officials told him he could keep the original.

In other news, convicted former congressman George Santos sat down with Tucker Carlson and said prison could be a “death sentence” for him, citing his fear of violence due to his sexual orientation. The remarks have reignited debate about safety and conditions in the U.S. prison system.

I will also speak to Democratic House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries today, and I will ask him, if indeed the Democratic party is supposed to be the bulwark against Trumpism right now...why do so many Dems keep voting for Republican bills and confirming Trump's nominees?
