The preceding email 'promising help' was the object being sold, and the meeting clarified the price being requested. Trump's public request days later was the acceptance of the deal. Trump never said anything unkind about Putin or Russia. It is unrealistic to expect this sort of deal to be a written contract, or explained (where it could be recorded) in blunt plain terms. This is as plain and blunt as this sort of agreement ever gets. The evidence is solid that Russia did indeed help Trump and Trump did appreciate and make full use of the help. It is also well recorded in the Mueller Report that Trump did repeatedly (10 ways, fully documented) willfully obstruct the investigation.
The Mueller Report is easy to read and excellently well organized, so there is no excuse if you have any questions to doubt my report. You can verify it for yourself. I believe NBC captured the video at the time. It seems very clear to me that the man who ducked did NOT want to be on video. It seems really strange to me.
