Today is Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and this is your news and preview of today's show.

Donald Trump on Monday used the White House podium to promote unproven and, in some cases, discredited ties between Tylenol, vaccines, and autism, even as his administration announced a new effort to study the disorder. During a lengthy and at times rambling press conference, Trump told pregnant women “don’t take Tylenol” more than a dozen times, and urged mothers not to give the drug to infants. Trump went on to claim that Cuba and the Amish have little autism because of a lack of Tylenol, and he mischaracterized the hepatitis B vaccine for newborns, incorrectly suggesting the virus is only sexually transmitted. He also repeated long-debunked claims about the MMR vaccine, advocating for separating doses despite decades of research showing no safety difference between combined or separate shots.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt faced scrutiny during a White House briefing. When asked about political violence, she described Trump as “authentically himself,” and she defended Border Czar Tom Homan, who was allegedly caught in a bribery sting, by accusing federal agents of entrapment. Leavitt also inflated Trump’s economic record, claiming he secured nearly nine trillion dollars in investment, and spoke of what she called a “pattern of transgender violence.”

The administration faced additional confusion when his Commerce Secretary repeatedly described Trump’s proposed $100,000 H-1B visa fee as annual. Leavitt later clarified it would be a one-time fee, not an annual charge. Even so, immigration experts warn the proposal would make the U.S. the most expensive country in the world for high-skilled workers and could drive talent elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Fortune magazine reports that major CEOs are privately voicing alarm about Trump’s economic policies. Executives cite tariffs that raise consumer prices, sudden trade shifts that paralyze investment, pressure on the Federal Reserve that threatens dollar stability, and government demands for control over private markets. While praising Trump in public, they describe his economic agenda in private as chaotic and destructive.

Finally, Nathan Taylor, Executive Director of Public Engagement for Election Truth Alliance, joins us to discuss discrepancies in the 2024 election and how to bolster election integrity.
