Benny Johnson’s allegation that Somalian IQs average 70 points in is assuredly false:

1. The statement reeks of racial prejudice.

2. He overlooks that IQ level tests are designed by college educated people living and educated in upper class white neighborhoods.

None of them could survive long in a Somali village.

This is a white woman speaking, who wonders about Johnson’s IQ and his relationship to reality. Intelligence can be measured many ways.

Reality is forbidden in trumpworld. Reality to a trumplette is like a cross to a vampire.

The MAGATS know they fucked up in 2016. They knew Trump is evil because they can identify evil quite easily because they are evil. These are hateful slime who are so evil and so the purposely ignorant they did the same thing again and elected a person who was everybody is evil as they are.

These people are not conservative nor are they Christians. They’re not even hypocrites. They are a scourge.

I hope decent Americans have the urge and are on the verge to purge the scourge. Trump, billionaires and corporate criminals are not the only enemies.

I think of myself as a fairly straightforward guy.

1) I look at the situation, and look to see if there are any problems that need to be attended to.

2) I examine the problem carefully, until I really understand the essential nature of the problem.

3) I look for solutions, which are usually pointed to by the problem if I did my problem analysis good enough.

4) Then it is a matter of creating a plan, with a schedule.

I think we are past the the first stage.

We have done enough on the second stage to proceed to the third stage (pro-tip, as you explore solutions, it often uncovers aspects of the problem not previously fully understood. Do not want to get caught up in 'Analysis Paralysis').

To me the solutions fall into two sections. One is stop the bleeding, removing the source of the problem. This is basic Traige. The other is how to make things better. For this section, I again divide it into two. First is to start the healing process, think blood transfusion, and the other is to work on fixing the root cause, not just removing the bullet, but fixing the situation so we don't keep getting shot.

We have a LOT of foundational problems, in our elections / democracy, taking care of our people and nation, changing our economy so it benefits the workers at least as much as it does the wealthy. The wealthy are not going to miss any meals or have to live without a roof over their head, or medical care in times of need..

Some Democrats are starting to make noises in the right direction, but if you compare their solution against the actual problem, most of them look to be far too small, limited in their thinking. They maybe address one piece of the problem of the economy, for instance, but much more will be needed or the wealthy will just find a way to block it or find a loop hole.

FIRST we have to get ALL the money out of politics (because the voice of the wealthy should not drown out the voice of the poor), which includes the candidates, the wealthy owners out of media companies, Lies (yes, Lies because they are BIG, they generate what is called 'Earned media' which distorts the election. We already outlaw lies that cause harm, and lies in the election process cause harm to the nation).

Then get the Politics out of the Courts (including SCOTUS especially) which will take some restructuring of our court system and how we designate who are 'nominated' to be the judges. I propose a few things, but biggest will be having the existing Federal Judges 'vote' to hire qualified people to become trial judges, and vote to place trial judges into appellate courts and a judge of a each appellate court will be elevated to be one of the SCOTUS judges, and those SCOTUS judge will rotate out every so many years with their appellate court's next in line. They will also be in charge of policing their own and removing if one is found to be corrupt, incompetent, or overtly political, no matter their position, with the funding to investigate and police their own. Bring immigration judges under the judicial branch. Outlaw adminstrative warrants. Any warrant needs to be from a judge, not a beurocrat.

Elevate both DC and Puerto Rico to Statehood. If Puerto Rico does not want to be a state, kick them loose. Free them. OR, let all the territories be covered under the representation of DC as a state. Or some combination thereof. People should have representation! Outlaw gerrymandering for federal elections and declare Gerrymandering to be contrary to a "Republican form of government" (Search it in the Constitution). Move for an amendment to change presidential elections to no longer be electoral college. Sell it as then EVERY citizen has a vote that the president wants, not just the swing states.

So many more things to fix and ways to make them better, but once we return the voice to the people, as opposed to the people only hearing the voice of the wealthy, and get politics out of our courts, THEN we have a chance to fix a whole lot of other things, of which there are many that are long overdue to be made better.

David’s work is always thorough and his sourcing is painfully transparent. David tells you what he “knows” to be true (fully-sourced), what “may be” true, but sourcing is still not solid, and “rumors”, which if properly sourced might be of interest. Keep it up, David!

I don't fully believe any reporting from anyone now. Refer to Reich's post today. No one can report because no one knows the situation because no one is in charge.
