Trump Says He Threatened Putin with Bombing Moscow in Bizarre Phone Call
Donald Trump had a phone call with professional golfer John Daly, and for some reason, the two talked about the situation in Ukraine. There is video of the call with Daly in a public setting listening to Trump on speaker phone. On the call, Trump bragged about his cozy relationship with Vladimir Putin. He said, “he was a friend of mine. I got along great with him. I’d say, Vladimir if you do it, we’re hitting Moscow.” It’s unclear whether Trump was referencing using a nuclear weapon or just a conventional attack. There is a possibility that Trump told Putin this, but he could also just be making the whole thing up. Trump said on the call with Daly that Putin believed him 5% or 10% of the way and “that’s all you need.” At any rate, it’s bizarre that a former president would be having this conversation over the phone with a professional golfer, but that’s so often the case when it comes to the antics of Donald Trump.
Republican Senator Suggests Assassinating Putin
Last week, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham suggested on Twitter that someone assassinate Vladimir Putin. Graham tweeted, “Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military? The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country - and the world - a great service.” Graham got a lot of pushback over the tweet as it seemed rather careless for a senator to be making such a suggestion. If Putin was assassinated and there was American or European culpability for it, the result could be World War III. So Graham should have known better than to say this on Twitter. However, it’s certainly not outside the realm of what military and intelligence officers are thinking. If Putin was killed, it might bring about an immediate end to the Ukrainian invasion, but it’s impossible to say for sure. While it may make sense for a conversation like this to be happening strategically in backrooms, it’s not appropriate to be coming from a senator’s Twitter feed.

MyPillow Mike Lindell EXPLODES on CBS Reporter
Last week, Mike Lindell had an absolute meltdown when speaking to CBS reporter Robert Costa at CPAC. Costa politely asked the MyPillow CEO about the notes he had when visiting the White House during Trump’s lame duck period and why they said “martial law.” Lindell chose to make a scene and kept pointing to Costa, bringing about the attention of a crowd, and yelling “Robert Costa is a traitor to the United States of America.” Later on, the pillow tycoon chanted “traitor” trying to get the crowd to join in. He also accused Costa of “regurgitating” old news because this instance at the White House occurred over a year ago. Lindell also asked, “why are you protecting a company called Dominion and attacking a company called MyPillow?” Later on in this conference during the headline speech by Donald Trump, Mike was singled out by Trump and the crowd gave him a standing ovation. Somehow, Republicans can’t seem to get enough of Lindell’s lunacy.
From over the weekend:
WOW: Mitt Romney CRUSHES Lunatic Republicans as "Morons"
Last week, Utah Senator Mitt Romney went on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Dana Bash and touched on the problem with having crazy people serving as lawmakers in his own party. Much of the interview focused around Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but then Bash asked the senator about GOP Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar speaking at the white nationalist conference “America First PAC.” Romney responded, “there’s no place in either political party for this white nationalism or racism. It’s simply wrong. As you’ve indicated, speaking of evil, it’s evil as well. And you know, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar, I don’t know them but I’m reminded of that old line from ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ movie where one character says, ‘morons, I’ve got morons on my team.’ And I have to think anybody that would sit down with white nationalists and speak at their conference was certainly missing a few IQ points.” While Romney is wrong when it comes to a number of political issues, it can’t be denied that if he was still the standard-bearer in the Republican Party, the country would be in a much better place right now.

Hi David, i enjoy watching and reading about your insights. I hope this is not taken the wrong way but if you read any of tom Clancy one of his insight into the political dynamic was he espoused the ryan doctrine which would replace the monroe doctrine.
If any government attacked or fermented an injust war for political gain the leadership behind the attack would be held accountable, not the people of the country, unless they were proponents of the attacks as well. The basis of the supposition that it would start ww3 is a fallacy for the country’s leadership would be weaken by the very nature of dictatorship, as pointed out by Asinov in his foundation series. A dictator would by definition route out his competition and kill them so as to protect their empires. Take out the leader and there will not be a strong man to fill the vacuum since the previous dictator would not chance that himself. As noted with Putin at his coffee table meetings everyone around him is a straw man. Same with sadam Hussain, syria, xia, marcos of the philippines, north korea etc. It was something trump tried with Pence too. Taking out a war criminal in advance is maybe a good thing here and trying him post humorously (sp on purpose) would be a good thing too. Especially since its pretty obvious the russian people are not behind this but could be seem as unwitting victims as well.
