A United States trade court ruled against Donald Trump’s latest round of global tariffs, saying the administration exceeded its authority under trade law. Trump attacked the judges after the ruling and said his administration would pursue alternative methods to continue the tariff policy.
Trump administration officials continue defending the economy even as Americans face rising gas prices and financial strain. Sean Duffy is encouraging road trips despite high fuel costs, while Kevin Hassett touts factory construction jobs, and Brooke Rollins promises a “golden age” for farmers.
A scheduled press availability between Donald Trump and Brazil’s president never happened despite networks repeatedly promising that remarks were imminent. The White House provided no explanation for the cancellation, creating confusion about the change of plans.
Donald Trump delivered a series of alarming statements about Iran, military action, and the economy that were totally detached from reality. He said gas prices are falling despite recent sharp increases, and gave vague reassurances about the hantavirus outbreak.
Finally, Republicans are increasingly focusing on election procedures and voter fraud narratives as economic frustration grows ahead of the midterms. The movement spends more energy questioning ballots, district maps, and election legitimacy than persuading new voters.
