Donald Trump publicly declared that the Strait of Hormuz is open and secure under a so-called agreement, but Iran continues restricting ship passage and asserting control. The ceasefire remains unstable with ongoing conflict and unclear terms, exposing a major gap between Trump’s claims and reality.
Rep. John Larson filed a sweeping impeachment resolution accusing Donald Trump of initiating war without approval, abusing executive power, and undermining constitutional limits. Despite Trump’s culpability and unpopularity, impeachment faces long odds in Congress due to insufficient votes for removal in the Senate.
Donald Trump published a series of Truth Social posts filled with attacks on NATO, political rivals, and threats tied to Iran. The messaging highlights contradictions between his claims of control over the Iran war and the unstable geopolitical situation unfolding.
Karoline Leavitt insisted that conditions in the Strait of Hormuz are improving and aligned with Donald Trump’s claims, despite data showing only a handful of ships passing. She repeatedly deflected direct questions and relied on future expectations rather than acknowledging the current situation.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham shifted from raising concerns about Donald Trump’s awareness of risks to defending him as thoughtful and informed. The reversal reflects an effort to maintain a consistent narrative rather than respond to unchanged facts about his decision-making style.
A live caller on C-SPAN unexpectedly accused Donald Trump of being a pedophile, creating a moment of confusion and urgency for the host. Unresolved controversies tied to Jeffrey Epstein continue to damage Trump’s reputation and surface in unpredictable public settings.
Megyn Kelly expressed frustration with Donald Trump’s conduct and called for more restraint, highlighting a contradiction within pro-Trump media voices. Her reaction shows growing fatigue with defending the same behavior that has long driven attention and engagement on the right.
Finally, Fox & Friends hosts state openly that Donald Trump’s ceasefire objectives have not been met, marking a rare admission on a typically supportive platform. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for right-wingers to frame Trump’s actions as successful while maintaining credibility with viewers.

That’s why I have been saying that there is no point in filing impeachment articles at this time!!! We don’t have the votes!! We, the people, need to vote in numbers too big to rig and gain the House, then MAYBE we have a shot!
"Despite Trump’s culpability and unpopularity, impeachment faces long odds in Congress due to insufficient votes for removal in the Senate."
Well YEAH, if we do it like we did before. One 'bullet proof' indictment, tailor made for a court room. We need to treat Trump like a Mob Boss, running a criminal organization. Any one crime can be gotten around, excused, dismissed for insufficeint evidence of his state of mind or some other such weasel worded case, with Demcorats giving up before they start if the cannot nail down each and every possible excuse they could dream up... Focus on the pattern of his crimes, the number of them, the vast number of types of crimes and abuses of power.
Notice that in the past two impeachments, Republicans refused to convict because of WHEN the impeachment was done. First it was too close to an election (eleven months away), then it was too late (willfully ignoring it would have blocked Trump from running again). They did not want to go on the record of denying the evidence, so they just declared it was not relevant.
So we hit them with EVERY crime, including those from his first adminstration, ignore the statute of limitations because this is NOT a court room and he is not being convicted in a court of his crimes. Every BS argument they throw, just declare "Sure, try to get him off on a technicality, try to ignore his obvious GUILT in ignoring his oath of office to enforce the laws. We have LOTS more crimes and abuses he has committed, reasons to remove him from office that are not matters of policy..."
Go full tilt "TV" version of a trial, with lots of drama. Capture the imagination and the horror and disgust of the people, make the republicans afraid of their voters and DARE them to show how subservient they are to Trump, violating their own oath of office...
