At the National Prayer Breakfast, Donald Trump delivered a rambling spectacle that barely resembled a reflection on faith. For over half an hour, he drifted through rants about oil, rigged elections, and personal grievances, mocking allies like Mike Johnson before stumbling into religious language. He even admitted he has never read the Bible. What emerged wasn’t spirituality but performative religion, used as a political prop.
MAHA under Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been promoting keto diets as a treatment for serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia. While criticism of ultra-processed foods and drug marketing is fair, claiming diet alone can cure severe mental illness is reckless. Schizophrenia is life-threatening and requires consistent medical care, not influencer-driven fads.
Trump’s overnight Truth Social spiral exposed his continued embrace of racist tropes. Among dozens of posts recycling debunked election fraud claims, one stood out: a video combining voting conspiracies with a racist image portraying Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. Allies dismissing it as fake outrage ignore a long history of racist tropes and Trump’s documented resentment toward Obama.
According to Punchbowl, Trump attempted to hold a $16 billion transit and tunnel project hostage unless Democrats agreed to rename Penn Station and Dulles Airport after him. The freeze had nothing to do with policy and everything to do with ego, already costing jobs and millions of dollars.
The economic fallout is becoming harder to ignore. Crypto markets have crashed sharply. Geopolitical instability, tariff threats, weak job growth, and pressure on the Federal Reserve have rattled investors. Crypto gets hit first because it’s smaller and more volatile, even as Trump personally benefits from deregulation and his own crypto ventures.
January layoffs reached their highest level since 2009, driven in part by companies shifting investment toward AI. Cuts are spreading across industries while Trump insists jobs are booming and delays key labor reports. The gap between rhetoric and reality continues to widen, and voters feel it in their wallets.
Finally, the Epstein files are back in the spotlight. While Bill Clinton’s name appears in the documents, the Clintons’ willingness to testify publicly under oath threatens the right-wing narrative. Being named is not proof of guilt, and no victims have accused Bill Clinton. Republicans prefer closed-door hearings to control the story and shield Trump, whose name appears far more often and who has shown no interest in testifying.
On today’s bonus show:
Mike Lindell's campaign is buying tons of copies of his own book, the Washington Post cuts hundreds of jobs, reactions from Josh's first day guest hosting, and much more...

Who was in charge of Congress when Gramm-Leach-Bliley was written for Clinton to sign? Answer: Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress throughout Clinton's second term.
As to RFK Jr., being a thorn is one thing, but being deliberately obtuse about things like vaccines is wholly different. I trust nothing that comes out of the mouth of RFK Jr. because he's not motivated by accurate research but by conspiracy theories and pseudo-science.
Trump probably has never read the Bible because I don’t think he’s even at a fourth or fifth grade reading level. The other thing about Trump in the Bible is that when he was sworn in last time Melania was holding two Bibles and Trump never put his hand on them. Maybe that was his way of telling the corporate rolling class that he is indeed the antichrist?
The MAGA tribe also claims to be Christian and have Christian values and they are probably just as ignorant of the Bible as Donald Trump is. People in the Bible belt have low IQ and high levels of immorality.
I take a little different view of RFK Junior And his healthcare stuff. There is evidence that a genic diet can be helpful with brain function. It is used as an adjunct to treat epilepsy and ADHD. RFK Junior is very skeptical of the American medical Mafi and particularly big Pharma. He is off base on some things but if he’s a thorn in the side to the American medical mafia, I see that is a good thing. Think about it, the last thing the medical industry cured was polio. Think about this, American life expectancy has been on the decline since 2014.
Think about this, maternal mortality rate has tripled since 1985.
Think about this, the affordable care act/Obamacare has made healthcare pretty much unaffordable. I realize it’s not politically correct to say what I’m about to say in the presence of liberals, but Barack Obama is also a rat bastard. It is also important to point out that the 2008 global recession that moved tremendous amounts of wealth from the bottom of the top was a result of Bill Clinton signing the banking modernization act and getting rid of Glass-Steagal which kept the banks and banksters from robbing us blind.
