Trump is pretty much now a rodeo clown and a puppet. My thoughts harken back to the French revolution and the reign of terror and the guillotine. I also think fondly of the days of the Nuremberg trials and the gallows and the firing squad. It is my opinion that in order to save the republic it may have to come to that.
At this point we need a complete restructuring of our government so that this insurrection and these acts of treason can never happen again. Laws need to be enacted and there needs to be an amendment to the constitution. The amendment would require that by oath, affirmation and contract, anyone involved with the federal government should be required to sign a contract not dissimilar from the contracts signed by a soldier.
We the peasants should be able to get rid of criminals within our government easily.
If any member of the federal government takes bribes from the corporate gangsters that person should never see the light of day.
Lobbyists are nothing more than bribe giving criminals. Everybody knows that.
While your comments are well taken, we have much of that in law anyway. But when you have a SC that says the president has unlimited immunity, which law would restrain him?
Every other govt official presents their tax records for examination, except Trump. Trump swore to uphold the constitution. We now find that the constitution is what he feels like at any given moment.
I also would like an iron clad set of laws/rules that govern the qualification of the president to include no felonies, no foreign business interests and no financial interests tied to his presidency like cryto and DJT stock. Those are just ways to sell the office.
I also want major overhaul of the pardon authority so there cannot be any conflict of interest. Those convicted of major crimes like Maxwell cannot be pardoned.
The problem comes down to this. Who makes the rules for Congress, the White House and the courts? The answer is, Congress, the White House and the courts make their own rules. Some mealymouthed pledging and all for the constitution will be the most empty words you’ll ever hear. These charlatans don’t care about the constitution look how the constitution now is null and void. These people are not going in the government to be servants. They’re going into government to get rich and most of them do as they do their cushy jobs which involve serving members of the corporate criminal elite ruling class.
It took four pages for the founding fathers to write the constitution. The criminals in Congress have 400 pages of ethics rules. Why does it take 400 pages simply to say to public servants, don’t lie, cheat, be insubordinate, commit acts of treason and insurrection? We have criminals in the Supreme Court with Clarence Thomas being the most traitorous and bribe taking. Judges at every level have what’s called judicial immunity as do police and prosecutors.
Think about it, these creatures in Washington DC are not even required to be drug tested and I would bet that if we were to drug test the slime in the Trump White House, at least 20% of them would be pretty hard-core substance abusers every bit as bad as whiskey Pete Hegseth. When Trump‘s other boyfriend Elon Musk was there, Elon was high as a kite. Why do we tolerate this? We not only tolerate this we almost expect it.
I suppose it takes a while to see through the smoke and mirrors, but when real people begin to hurt, the dynamic changes. And Bessant and Lutnik are still saying we all need to wait six months for the miracle. They live in a bubble. Everyone else needs to feed their kids and see a doctor TODAY! That little bit of pain we were supposed to weather is bad policy. In fact it is ignorant policy. The reason governing takes time is because everyone is a constituent with real issues and intransigence at the top kills people. But these guys are businessmen, and do not have the slightest idea why people go into public service. The government is not a business, its sole purpose to to assist and help improve the lives of the people in the nation. Trump and his team are selfish, which is diametrically opposed to, "Ask not what the country can do for you. Ask what can you do for your country!"
