He's just become accustomed to being able to rename anything he wants to anything he wants. Gulf of Mexico? Not anymore! Lake Ontario? Not anymore! And too many powers that be are going along with it.

I read shortly after his embarrassing Davos appearance, where he announced his idiotic name change for artificial intelligence, that the whole thing was about the fact that there were few desirable .ai domains remaining. In typical fashion, his family, friends, and cronies were able to snatch up all the .si domains for nothing because of the insider knowledge that he would be announcing the name change. All they needed to do was buy up just the .si domains that matched the .ai domains that the federal government owned, and they could make bank when he ordered the change throughout the government, even if no one else adopted it.
When some says or writes, "SI," who thinks of Sports Illustrated? I know that they can't copyright or trademark SI, but Sports Illustrated used it first.
Every single time I hear a new attempt at language/thought control, I go find a teeshirt to buy, which mocks the demanded alteration. I now wear my “Gulf of Mexico” shirt, my “Lake Ontario” shirt, and I will definitely obtain an “artificial Intelligence” shirt, to publicly display a middle finger and my unwillingness to comply. I will NEVER comply with a king. We evicted King George and We, the People, can do it, again.
Two year old humans almost always learn un-needed demands and tantrums to get what they want will not be granted. Caretakers for example, redirect two year old to an acceptable activity or charge childs location.
In my opinion, we do not need a nation of two year old undesired behavior enablers for old tfump. It is bad for individuals and those with money or whatever tfump wants to control. Each person can activate change from the bottom up, just say no and do what is right.
