Moving entire class of people out of DC has got to ring some legal bell. Unfortunately the forgotten and downcast do not throw a lot of political weight. Are there extra rooms in the WH or the lawn or could they sleep in the new ball room? Homelessness will not be solved by hiding it. The billions spent on it should at least provide some accommodation especially for kids and families. No child should be sleeping in a car or tent and not going to school.

We the people is not everyone on the planet. It is those born here and legally made citizens. Many of our forefathers came legally thru Ellis Island. We have also accepted many refugees fleeing tyranny such Afghans who helped us and are deserving of citizenship as payback. Our forefathers did not die fighting for open borders. They fought to stop tyranny so we could live in peace here. The expression Home of the Free has been mis-interpreted to mean it is free to come here. Nothing in life is free. Someone has to pay for it. WIth a exploding national debt that will come due soon, our way of life may dramatically change and not for the better. So adding to the burden of funding the govt by welcoming the rest of the world will ruin the golden goose.
