As SOON as these “ agents “ no longer serve his purpose they will be thrown to the wolves , and hopefully be subjected to the prosecution they deserve .

One would think. But to allow "each man for themselves " mentality invites "whisleblower" mindset. Trump will want to deny, deflect, defend, deceive whatever it takes to keep the lid of the fact that he is in fact the person responsible for these problems. Which is probably why Bovino is transferred, others are on leave ( probably paid) so it is quite a web they have woven. Now...how to manage it? Trump will never admit wrongdoings, but he does not want "whisleblowers" to infer or prove his culpability. 🙄. How Trump ever got voted in at all is still confusing to me. 😐

Agreed, no one is safe, this admin only cares about power and cruelty - no one wins. That said, it seems strategic, this "getting rid of" certain folks, as you see, they don't really go away. It is a strategy to test, push to the limit, back off a bit, push again.

Except someone DOES win: all the billionaires at the top. They are immune from all of it and enjoy their extravagant lifestyle no matter what.

Again, not surprising at all !!! Typical of the orange con !!!

Succinctly put David. Excellent read.

Trump will sacrifice anyone (including family members) to save himself. He’s loyal to only one person!

Carol Johnson's avatar

Yes! He’s not even loyal to his family. The very definition of a narcissist.

Did I read this right? Tom Homan who took a $50,000 bribe in a paper bag, is going to instill "professionalism" on the gestapo gang of ICE agents?

Carol Johnson's avatar

I’m laughing, but in a hysterical manner.

Hound's avatar

The deployment of ICE/Trump’s gestapo is a symptom of a country and a government that probably shouldn’t exist. Hopefully Canada will invite the blue states to be part of Canada.

Hitler had a lot of his generals executed even though they were loyal to him. If Trump lives long enough and if his regime continues without him, that’s gonna happen.

We are probably passed the time when the military should’ve gone into the White House and removed the criminals, convicted them of their crimes and then taken them to the firing squad. Is it going to take a group of countries to orchestrate a much needed Nuremberg solution?

How and why did Obama deport over 3 MILLION PEOPLE.. no fanfare .. no ICE WARS AND NO judicial reviews .. earning himself the name DEPORTER IN CHIEF Lets chat about the 7 countries he BOMBED then USED DRONES killing many innocents .. HE KILLED ALOT OF PEOPLE AND GOT A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE .. come on Greg your to smart to be fooled this NO MODERN ERA PRESIDENT HAS DEPORTED AS MANY AS OBAMA HAS

I hope Homan took a few minutes to explain that big word” professionalism” to his troops- they aren’t the brightest bunch and probably need a diagram and maybe picture panels to be sure they’re on the same page? ICE’s JOB IS SUPPOSED TO BE TO DEPORT CRIMINALS WHO ARENT HERE FOLLOWING THE LAW SURROUNDING IMMIGRATION. THEY ARENT SUPPOSED TO BE CROWD CONTROL- if they weren’t here being lawless and vicious and using deadly force there wouldn’t be a need for any crowds.

A lot of the people that Trump pardoned after their crimes on January 6 became ICE agents. ICE is a criminal force and Holman is a criminal leading it but everybody reading this already knew it so I’m going to the point where I don’t even wanna fucking bother with this shit.

We already know that the solution to Donald Trump back in 2016 was in military intervention and a government reset with every billionaire and corporate criminal and prison. Maybe it’s too late for that?

Dear Leader will be in the ground before these Nazi Gestapo agents will be arrested likely. HOPEFULLY before spring!

Trump probably is not in charge at this point. The final destruction of American democracy was not something Trump could’ve done by himself. I know that people are going to be jumping up and down and dancing in the streets when Trump dies and we all hope it is soon but that’s not gonna change anything. The American government has been corrupt for a very long time. The distribution of money going from the bottom to the top has been going on long before Trump.

When you see pictures of Trump sitting, and almost everyone he is making a symbol with his two hands. It is an upside down pyramid. It’s symbolizes wealth and power going from the bottom to the top. The news media won’t tell you that because they are part of the problem. Corporate news is propaganda.

Dox them all and strip them of any ability to work in any law enforcement capacity.

Remember Chuck Graner and Lynndie England? The only ones who went to prison over Abu Ghraib? The only one in the chain of command who suffered any consequences was a woman (figures, huh?) who was demoted from brigadier general to colonel. None of the people who AUTHORIZED TORTURE received any repercussions - only the grunts who followed their orders and a woman thrown under the bus as a scapegoat.

Darrell Scott's avatar

In the meantime terrorism and murder continue!!!

Hound's avatar

Anyone who was corrupt enough and foolish enough to show loyalty to Trump got thrown under the bus. When James call me told Trump that he would be loyal to the constitution, criminal Donald Trump went after him.

There are so many reasons to throw Trump under the bus and preferably that bus will look more like a steam roller.

Your lesson today boys and girls is to tune out the Talking Heads and corporate news and learn the word kleptocratic because that word describes exactly what the American government is. The commentators like to overly complicate things. The common denominator to just about everything is wealth and power.

I need a new paragraph for this one. We have all seen the transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top and this was going on before Trump came along. The American government was already corrupt beyond redemption before Trump came along and because the American government was corrupt corrupt corrupt corrupt corrupt it made it very easy for a criminal like Trump to come to power. He is broken enough laws to be thrown into a cage for the rest of his miserable putrid life but that didn’t happen.

The rich and powerful are above the law and when some jackass opens his mouth and proclaimed that nobody is above the law that jackass needs to be hit in the face with a pie or something else because it’s bullshit. Members of the ruling class are above the law. David knows this but for some reason he won’t say it because he’s making himself a pretty damn good living putting out content it really doesn’t tell anybody what the actual problem is. If you don’t know the problem you don’t know the solution. The problem is pretty clear and so is the solution. If you don’t know what the solution is it’s very simple, the rule of law needs to be applied to everyone equally.

When your kids are saying the Pledge of Allegiance in school and they get to the part that says liberty injustice for all tell them to either call bullshit or not say those final words that are complete in total lies.

The casting of ICE agents as "roving gangs of immigrant hunters" is, by itself, problematic. The method is only being used because Stephen Miller wants to reach his daily quota of arrests regardless of how many fish the ICE agents eventually need to throw back...eventually. There must be better ways to investigate, locate, and deport the "worst of the worst" that we were promised. It's about optics, I know--calculated to make MAGA followers think that Trump is getting rid of the most dangerous immigrants, the ones who are (allegedly) _destroying_ our country. But if we believe our own eyes, the people who are being arrested or kidnapped, and deported, are just not that menacing. Where are the armed clashes between ICE and drug dealers, the disruptions of sexual trafficking operations, the storming of the citadels of gangs and chop shops? That would make for good "optics" too, but we see none of that.
