Democrat Emily Gregory pulled off a major upset, flipping a Republican seat in Florida that includes Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, winning 51-49 despite Trump endorsing the Republican candidate. This district had gone easily for Trump in 2024, signaling shifting political winds.
This coming weekend, over 3,000 protests are planned nationwide, potentially making March 28th one of the largest single days of protest in U.S. history. The demonstrations come as Trump’s approval ratings stay low, gas prices climb, and the Iran war escalates.
CBS is facing a historic collapse in ratings under Bari Weiss, who has steered the network toward a pro-Trump stance since taking over as editor-in-chief in October 2025. CBS Evening News and CBS Mornings are at record lows, especially among the 25–54 demographic, as viewers flee over perceived bias.
Suspicious trading activity has raised calls for investigation. Minutes before Trump announced a pause on striking Iran’s power plants, nearly $600 million in oil futures and $1.5 billion in bullish stock bets were placed, yielding massive profits. No direct evidence links Trump or officials to the trades, but the timing suggests insider knowledge.
Trump’s recent press conference was chaotic, showing confusion over the Iran war. He repeatedly contradicted himself, calling military operations “perfect” and “amazing” despite casualties and economic turmoil. He also misrepresented asylum policy and gave no clarity on Iran negotiations.
At a ceremony for the new Secretary of Homeland Security, Trump appeared physically unstable, struggled with acronyms, and contradicted himself on whether the U.S. is at war with Iran. He misrepresented negotiations and regime change while pretending the conflict is going smoothly.
Trump’s new DHS Secretary, Markwayne Mullin, has surfaced in unearthed videos discussing corporal punishment of his children and confronting his daughter’s boyfriend. Mullin appeared proud of these actions, raising ethical concerns about Trump’s newest cabinet member.
Finally, Americans are increasingly seeing through the chaos of the Trump administration. With Republicans controlling Congress and the White House, they are responsible for failures, and voters are connecting the dots.
