Attorney General Pam Bondi’s performance at her congressional hearing was a public fiasco, revealing her as unfit and emotionally volatile. Instead of answering questions about Jeffrey Epstein, especially whether underage girls attended parties with Donald Trump, Bondi repeatedly deflected to talking points about the stock market and Trump’s record. She reacted angrily when accused of lying under oath and clashed with Democratic lawmakers, appearing evasive and dishonest, with even some Republicans questioning whether she should resign.
During the hearing, Republican Congressman Jim Jordan condemned disruptions of congressional proceedings, highlighting an obvious double standard. His remarks unintentionally applied to Bondi, who repeatedly shouted at Democrats, as well as to January 6th rioters. This reflects a pattern in Trump-aligned politics where allies are shielded while opponents are punished.
Trump held a backward-looking and superficial coal event at the White House. He falsely attacked wind energy and praised his tariff policy. Later on, aides shielding him from questions, prioritizing symbolic performances over substantive policy engagement.
During the event, a coal industry representative awarded Trump the “undisputed champion of beautiful clean coal” trophy. Trump accepted it earnestly, illustrating a pattern of symbolic praise protecting his fragile ego. The premise of “clean coal” is also misleading, as carbon-capture efforts remain limited and expensive, leaving coal’s environmental and health impacts largely unaddressed.
Six House Republicans joined Democrats in a 219–211 vote to end Trump’s tariffs on Canadian imports, marking a rare public break from him despite his threats. Tariffs act as import taxes, raising costs for American businesses and consumers, especially given Canada’s role as a major trading partner. This defiance signals a shift, with some Republicans seeing greater political risk in aligning with Trump than opposing him.
Trump’s policies are falling short on major promises, from immigration to trade and public trust. Approval ratings in the high 30s reflect dissatisfaction with the agenda, while deficits, tax extensions, and expanded enforcement spending create long-term fiscal strain. When policies falter, leaders with authoritarian tendencies often escalate rhetoric to maintain control rather than recalibrate.
Finally, Trump’s coalition, which included cultural figures like Joe Rogan and Andrew Schulz, has shown signs of a “vibe shift” through their public criticism of the Epstein files. Even small declines in enthusiasm could have significant political consequences, especially in low-turnout midterm elections.

There’s something about Republican men and women that just screams vulgarity.
So , isn’t telling the TRUTH a HUGE part of the legal system? Witnesses in all the court shows I’ve ever watched have had to swear to “tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God“ with their hands on the Bible- so the Attorney General of the United States can just say whatever??? With impunity?? Bondi should be DISBARRED. She’s a shameless sycophant and will say anything she thinks is in her best interest regardless if it’s a LIE
