Will we only know about Trump's health when it's too late?!
White House denials are colliding with visible signs of decline.

The Split-Screen Reality of Trump’s Health
If you only read White House memos or listen to press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Donald Trump sounds less like a 79-year-old president and more like a Marvel character. We are told he has unmatched energy, perfect cognition, elite motor skills, and the stamina of a professional athlete. His golf swing is flawless. His mind is sharper than ever. He barely needs sleep.
Then you see the video.
And that’s where the story actually begins.
What we are living with in early 2026 is a strange split-screen reality. On one screen, there is the official version of Donald Trump: the indestructible alpha leader, tireless and brilliant, operating at peak performance. On the other screen, there is the footage most of us have watched with our own eyes. A president who looks increasingly weak, disoriented, and physically diminished.
There has always been a gap between how Trump is described by his allies and how he appears in public. That gap is not new. What is new is how wide it has become. The administration’s claims about his health have grown more hyperbolic at the same time that the visual evidence of deterioration has become harder to ignore.
At this point, the disconnect is impossible to miss.
The Cognitive Test Defense
The White House continues to point to one central talking point as proof that everything is fine: Trump “aced” multiple cognitive tests, including a 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. Case closed, apparently.
Leavitt repeats this line regularly, insisting that Trump’s mental sharpness is “second to none.” When critics point out that his speeches often sound incoherent, the response is that the rambling is not rambling at all. It is “the weave,” a supposedly brilliant rhetorical technique designed to connect complex ideas.
That explanation collapses the moment you actually watch the speeches.
In one appearance, Trump drifts into a jumble involving his uncle, nuclear energy, and the Unabomber. In another, during a diplomatic briefing, he repeatedly mixes up Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Iceland, and Greenland. This is not a one-off. It happens again and again.
When you step back and look at his speech patterns more broadly, the changes are difficult to dismiss. His vocabulary appears noticeably diminished. He frequently trails off mid-sentence. Thoughts dissolve into vague phrases like “and many other things.” He repeats the same words and constructions over and over. He pauses, glitches, and visibly struggles to retrieve basic language.
You can call it a “weave” if you want. Or you can trust people to use their eyes and ears.
The Physical Contradictions
The same split-screen problem shows up when it comes to Trump’s physical health.
According to the White House doctor, Trump is essentially a “robust athlete.” We are told he leads an active lifestyle, regularly wins golf tournaments, and has completely normal physical and neurological function.
But, again, the videos don’t lie.
There are now multiple clips showing Trump walking with a wide-based gait, dragging his right leg as it swings outward in a semicircle. One of the most widely shared examples is from a few months ago, when he was walking with his grandson. Clinical experts have pointed out that this kind of movement can be associated with serious neurological issues, including the aftereffects of a stroke or conditions like frontotemporal dementia, where one side of the body behaves like dead weight.
There are also the facial asymmetries. Photos from the 9/11 anniversary event appeared to show a noticeably drooping mouth and uneven facial movement. The White House explanation was simple: he was tired.
That explanation sits awkwardly next to the repeated claim that Trump is never tired, only needs four hours of sleep, and has limitless energy.
The Numbers That Do Not Add Up
Then there are the basic facts we are asked to accept.
Over the last year or two, we have been told that Trump is six foot three and weighs somewhere in the low 220s. If true, that would mean he has lost a significant amount of weight. This is supposedly happening while he continues to eat fast food regularly and, according to his own statements at the so-called “milk summit,” drinks gallons of whole milk.
That alone strains credibility. It becomes even harder to believe when you compare photos of Trump from years past to images from today. There is no obvious dramatic weight loss.
Once again, the official story and the visual evidence do not line up.
The Shrinking Schedule
Finally, there is Trump’s schedule.
Despite constant claims of strength, vitality, and stamina, Trump is reportedly operating on a significantly reduced daily schedule. When it was revealed years ago that Joe Biden tried to keep events between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Trump and his team mocked that schedule as evidence of weakness.
Now, multiple reports suggest that Trump is keeping an even more restricted window, roughly noon to 5 p.m. The White House denies this, but the publicly available calendar largely supports it.
There have also been repeated instances of Trump appearing to doze off during public events. A cannabis reform press conference. Cabinet meetings. The “milk summit.” Each time, the explanation is the same: he is not sleeping, he is “reflecting,” because he is so deeply engaged.
Sure.
The Question That Won’t Go Away
So here we are, watching two versions of the presidency unfold at once.
On paper, Trump is a superhero. Perfect cognition. Robust health. Unmatched energy. An incredible athlete.
On video, he is confused, inventing history, mixing up geography, dragging his leg, showing facial droop, covering bruised hands with makeup and bandages, disappearing after dinner, and sometimes falling asleep during meetings.
At this point, the question for me is no longer whether Trump is healthy. The evidence on that front is already overwhelming.
The real question is this: who is actually running the country from about 5 p.m. until noon the next day?
And just as importantly, will we ever be told the truth about Trump’s health before it is too late?

Purrsonally I don't care. We need guard rails for someone who, clearly, is dealing with dementia and psychosis due to a secondary STD.
