Inflation has climbed to its highest level in three years despite Donald Trump promising fast affordability relief after taking office. Energy prices have surged 17.9% over the year, and gasoline remains elevated while real wages are declining, creating a political problem as Americans pay more for everyday necessities.
White House spokesperson Anna Kelly said Donald Trump is “not in a rush” to respond to rising prices. While Americans struggle with higher costs, Trump praised oil developments as “amazing” and discussed Venezuela becoming the 51st state.
Donald Trump again praised authoritarian leaders by complimenting Xi Jinping’s centralized control over China and positively describing Belarus ruler Alexander Lukashenko, who has remained in power since 1994. This is the latest example of Trump valuing dominance and unchecked authority over democratic principles.
Polling shows roughly 30% of Americans believe at least one assassination attempt against Donald Trump may have been staged, while many others say they are unsure what to believe. The skepticism highlights how years of anti-institutional rhetoric about the FBI, media, elections, and government agencies have fueled distrust.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed male sperm counts have sharply declined since 1970 during an event where Donald Trump appeared to fall asleep on camera. Trump later praised McDonald’s, pressured Republican Senator Katie Britt about loyalty, and commented on the Iran ceasefire being on “massive life support.”
Donald Trump delivered n erratic speech filled with strange tangents and self-focused commentary while discussing Gavin Newsom, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Todd Blanche. He also delivered a confusing explanation, clarifying that “sea” means water while praising Blanche for keeping him “out of jail for years.”
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez argued that progressives should not align with Marjorie Taylor Greene because of Greene’s long record of antisemitic rhetoric and associations with figures like white nationalist Nick Fuentes. The dispute escalated after Cenk Uygur accused AOC of helping divide anti-war activists.
Finally, Senator Cory Booker, Democrat from New Jersey, joins us to discuss Democratic strategy ahead of the midterms, and much more.
On today’s bonus show:
Calls for Democrats to pack the court return, a California mayor is charged with acting as a foreign agent for China, Trump weighs suspending the gas tax, and much more...

I have to agree with AOC. It is possible to agree with MTG’s anti-war stance, but one must never forget that, as a whole, MTG is the polar opposite to progressives. Don’t be making deals with the devil. They don’t actually change their colors, just the coat they are wearing today.
It is so amazing to me that nobody will do anything to stop him from spending every cent that Our Country has on his crappy bullshit things that everyone is so excited about, good or bad. While Our Country needs food, fuel, housing that is affordable, rent that doesn't take what the average Senior Citizens gets in their monthly check.
He makes me sick, his administration makes me sick, his wife and his makes me the sickest. They are all a bunch of hypocrites, liars, scumbags, and I could go on, but what is the sense...my cry''s go unheard.
